We experienced a 19.5 minute outage tonight at 21:26:32, we are investigating what caused this problem.

Our BGP Peering Partner had a core switch failure which as our router only has a single Ethernet connection we were knocked offline. They will be installing a second Ethernet port to provide resilience at this level.

Our BGP Peering partner had a recurrence of the previous failure They have replaced the failed equipment. Total downtime 40 minutes.

5.10am 18th June 2003
Our BGP Peering partner had a major network failure Our network was unavailable for 4:45 hours.

7:00pm 25th March 2003
A network switch failed at 6:30pm tonight. Customers on Bench 2 were down for 30 minutes.

11:00am 24th March 2003
Our BGP Peering partner had a network failure at 10:15am for 30 minutes.

7:30am 22nd March 2003
Routine Maintenance completed on core network.
Network total downtime of 3 minutes.

Our BGP Peering partner in Telehouse had equipment failure which caused problems for our network.
The problem was fixed within 40 minutes of being reported.

Our BT SDH circuits both went down as of 10:29am.
This should never have been possible, and we are pursuing BT for an explanation.

TFM40 at Telehouse had a power problem. One of the PDU's tripped causing the entire room to go up and down for about 40 minutes. This meant that BGP did not have time to reconverge.

Routing issues, possibly caused by the imminent death of the KPNQwest network, were noticed this morning. Engineers are investigating.
UPDATE: OSPF adjacencies had been lost between Juniper and Cisco routers. These were corrected as soon as discovered.

A Denial of Service (DOS) attack was launched at our Telehouse end which affected customers for about 10 minutes. A filter has been applied to prevent this now, however performance may be degraded slightly until the source can be investigated fully.

Midnight 25th / 26th May 2002
Equipment is being moved in Telehouse at Midnight on Saturday night, this will cause some network interuption for about 10 minutes.
